Maine Mariners coach to host hockey skills challengePORTLAND (WGME) -- When the Maine Mariners’ season was shut down because of COVID, head coach Riley Armstrong wanted to do something positive for kids in the community. Another Mainer dies as 201 new coronavirus cases are reportedHis wife Amber came up with the idea of having a hockey skills challenge. On March 12, at the rink at Thompson’s Point, the first annual Armstrong Skills Competition will take place. There will be several events, such as fastest skater, puck relay and hardest shot.
